We have an armload of Wyeast-1056 smack packs with a best-used-by date of May 23rd. Normally we recommend using them a month before that best-used-by date so they are 2 for the price of 1 in our online store until they're gone! Add 2 to your cart and the discount should apply automatically (let us know if it doesn't).

Bend may hit 70 degrees today which has us thinking about pale ales, lawnmowers and ciders. It's not exactly harvest season, but we're still excited to give this cider kit from Mangrove Jack's a try. We are selling it with the option of coming with or without the 2+ lbs of dextrose it calls for as some of you may already have that on hand. Pro-tip: Don't cut the pouch until it's brew day. We have yet to find a fool-proof way of cutting open the outer pouch without also cutting open the inner pouch that holds the extract.
