We are super excited to be adding to our list of Northwest suppliers with the addition of Yakima Valley Hops!  We will start sourcing many of the varieties we currently carry through YVH and also start to carry new varieties.  First up - we have some El Dorado, Talus, Engima, Vic Secret, and Idaho Gem on the way - slated to arrive Friday the 17th.

The Central Oregon Homebrewers Organization (COHO) has organized an exciting brewing comp for local brewers, the Central Oregon Pro-Am Challenge.  Winning "Ams" get to brew their recipes with the "Pros" at the commercial breweries here in Central Oregon. The resulting "Pro-Am" beers will go head-to-head with a tap-takeover at Boneyard Pub on November 5, 2022. Proceeds will go to COHO and a charity selected by the winner. If we're going to call ourselves Oregonized Brewing we should definitely be carrying Oregon yeasts.  So, in addition to our favorite strains from Wyeast, we have our first shipment of Imperial Yeast on its way.  We'll have a limited selection available mid-May and hope to expand to the full Imperial line by the summer.  Love that high cell count and not having to get the starter going the day before!
