Bend may hit 70 degrees today which has us thinking about pale ales, lawnmowers and ciders. It's not exactly harvest season, but we're still excited to give this cider kit from Mangrove Jack's a try. We are selling it with the option of coming with or without the 2+ lbs of dextrose it calls for as some of you may already have that on hand. Pro-tip: Don't cut the pouch until it's brew day. We have yet to find a fool-proof way of cutting open the outer pouch without also cutting open the inner pouch that holds the extract.

We just received an order for a customer making his first batch of mead.  While we don't stock ingredients for mead (yet) we can always do a special order and often beer brewing equipment can work great for mead as well.  Let us know if you need yeast, bulk honey, or even a mead specific starter kit and we can usually get you a same-day estimate.  Put the details into our Contact Form and we'll get to work
